Fox Watches the Watchmen

As many of you may already know from this past February, 20th Century Fox claimed that it never fully relinquished its story rights of “Watchmen” from way back in the 1980s over to Warner Bros.  In response, Warner Bros. contested their claims saying that Fox wasn’t entitled to the distribution of the film.

Just last week, U.S. District Court Judge Gary Feess ruled that Warner Bros. had, in fact, infringed its rights by developing and shooting “Watchmen”.  Now, the latest news is that 20th Century Fox will continue to seek an order to delay the film’s release, with a January 20th trial date scheduled to settle any remaining issues.

As disappointing as the news may sound, this might cheer some people up…”Fox” (as this user claims to be) has created a Twitter account with some quite entertaining comments:  http://twitter.com/foxmovies

How I would love to see the faces of those elitist, avaricious, egotistical pigs at Fox when they find out about this 🙂
